Role Description
Shipping Operations Assistant supporting the coordination of daily shipping and logistics activities.
The role involves shipment processing, documentation, carrier coordination, record keeping, tracking, and delivery communication.
Responsibilities
- Assist with shipment processing and prepare and verify shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers, including pickup and delivery arrangements.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems with shipment status.
- Coordinate shipping schedules and check orders and shipping details.
- Communicate delivery requirements with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and transport providers.
- Assist with resolving shipment discrepancies, delays, damaged goods, and documentation issues.
- Follow relevant procedures and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma, certificate, or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of shipping, logistics, order fulfillment, and supply chain processes.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with shipping, inventory, warehouse, or enterprise management systems is preferred.
