Role Overview
Support marine terminal, shipping, offshore logistics, and operational coordination activities.
The role involves working with marine operations, offshore personnel, vessel crews, contractors, and internal departments.
Experience and Domain Knowledge
- Practical exposure to vessel arrivals and departures, berthing, mooring, marine traffic monitoring, and vessel movement coordination is required.
- Experience maintaining records and reports for vessel movements, terminal activities, weather monitoring, and daily operational status is required.
- Knowledge of offshore personnel movement, vessel scheduling, offshore support activities, or marine logistics is required.
- Exposure to SPM, jetty, berth, offshore terminal, helideck, or helicopter operations is a strong advantage.
HSE and Documentation
- Strong HSE awareness and working knowledge of PTW systems, JSA/JHA, toolbox talks, PPE, hazard reporting, incident reporting, and emergency response procedures are required.
- Strong administrative, reporting, and document control skills are required.
- The role requires preparation of operational reports, records, inspection logs, checklists, and audit documentation.
Preferred Background
- A bachelor's degree and more than 5 years of experience in marine, shipping, port operations, offshore logistics, transportation, or oil and gas support functions are advantageous.
Coordination Duties
- Coordinate vessel movements, marine traffic, offshore personnel movement, vessel scheduling, offshore support activities, and marine logistics.
- Liaise with marine operations, offshore personnel, vessel crews, contractors, and internal departments in a fast-paced operational environment.
