The PM Shipper/Receiver is responsible for pallet preparation, department sanitation, shipping of temperature-sensitive products, and receiving all incoming deliveries for the facility.
Duties and Responsibilities Load, unload, accurately sort, and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment. Examines shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of shipment. Follow operating procedures and be responsible for accurate record keeping. Maintain shipping and receiving area and dock. Conduct regular sanitation tasks and any additional sanitation duties as required. Prepare inedible product for pickup and disposal. Ensuring all code date units, label printers and other related machinery are properly set as per daily production numbers. Ensuring all equipment and workplace is kept clean and organized, following HACCP prerequisite plans, SOP’s, policies and procedures. Complying with all Plant GMP and Health & Safety rules and other relevant business processes. Trouble shooting equipment and implementing the corrective actions. Responsible to report food safety problems and/or quality problems to Production Supervisor and/or Quality Assurance to initiate actions. Any other job duties requested by Production Supervisor. Understand, support and comply with all food safety and quality policies such as Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), Hygiene, Allergen, Organic and Food Security
