This is a very exciting time for the Production Team as we continue to grow and expand!

We are looking to add strong workers to our team.

You’ll perform various tasks, including maintaining and operating the machinery and search for potential malfunctions or risks.

You’ll transfer the products and equipment, using power tools and forklift trucks.

You’ll also keep the facility clean by removing debris and trash and ensure safety.

You have at least 2 years or relevant experience working in production at an industrial plant

Nice-To-Have

Knowledge of HACCP programs and housekeeping is an asset

things you will do...

Setting up equipment, changing over product, and maintaining a clean working environment

Scheduling and coordinating staff breaks

Participate in routine production activities and ensure the quality of work/product meets company standards by taking appropriate actions

Act as liaison between team and Supervisors and act as a temporary Supervisor in their absence

Communicate with appropriate stakeholders about production updates, requests, issues and more

Follow all given instructions including work and safety procedures, policies, or standards

OTHER ...

Available to work flexible shifts, holidays, weekends, and be on-call, as the job requires

Shift times: variable between 8:30am to 9:00pm Monday to Friday

Detailed Description Of Duties

Performing pre-operational quality, housekeeping and safety checks before starting production lines

Operating equipment according to operating procedures in order to achieve the daily production target

Supplying all pertinent documents and reports, as may be required by management or the government, in an accurate and legible format.

Ensuring that all products packaged meet or exceed company and government standards for quality and composition

Responsible for changeovers and cleaning of equipment

Equipment checks for malfunctions and proper sanitation and taking appropriate corrective action

Clean-up and sanitation of tanks or lines that are selected to be cleaned

Making recommendations and promote best practices

Ensuring compliance with GMP, Food Safety, SOPs, and other pertinent policies, procedures and legislation

Performing any other duties as directed by management personnel. (i.e. helping during machine wash up and filling totes in the mix area)

Supporting health and safety programs

Other duties as assigned
