Shipper & Receiver, Full Time

REQUIREMENTS

• Less than 1 year of work experience
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Successfully completes all of Compass required training
• REPORTS TO: Purchasing department manager

CORE EXPECTATIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ordering product (food, beverage and dry goods) as per requisition sheets submitted by department.
• Controls distribution, spoilage and security of inventories.
• Ensures coordination of the pick up and delivery of product between satellite units.
• Supply the 24/7 Dinning Hall with bulk items that are too heavy to lift.
• Responsible for weekly inventories.
• Ensuring prompt delivery requests to satellites and SITES.
• Maintain proper lending procedures and assuring stock availabilities.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary and safe working environment.
• Assists with routine preparatory tasks.
• Transports food and equipment.
• Performs duties in a safe and hygienic manner.
• Ensures the safe operation equipment and environment by checking for and reporting hygiene and safety hazards to manager.
• Completes assigned tasks as quickly as is safely practical.
• Complies with company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for weekly inventory counts for their area are accurate and done in a timely manner.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management, not limited to the duties listed above.
