Dynamic Integrated Services (DIS) is seeking a Shipper/Packer to join our growing organization . This role will partner closely with a team of talented managers to support our operations for a specific contract supporting the Veteran Affairs.
Key Responsibilities (What you will do )
- Knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content
- Selection of appropriate type and size of container
- Inserting enclosures in container
- Using excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage
- Closing and sealing container
- Applying labels or entering identifying data on container
- Operates several types of packaging equipment.
- Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner.
- Maintains inventories of drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, rotating stock, and checking expiration dates.
- Act as a "runner" and deliver messages, documents, or items to various locations at the facility when needed.
