It’s within this skilled team at Marshalls that we’re recruiting for an Mechanical Engineer. So, what’s the mission? Working as part of the team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment reactive engineering activities on site. What are the mission critical skills?
• A strong mechanical working knowledge
• The ideal applicant will be a qualified, time served in a similar position ideally at NVQ 3 level
• Ideally apprentice trained
• Working knowledge of robots and automated process plant & machinery
• Experience in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication and general machining
• Experienced in reactive and planned maintenance on systems controlling hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors (belts, chain, rollers, bearings, gear boxes, motors etc.), and able to read technical drawings
