ServiceNow Developer (Senior Software Engineer I )

Role Overview

Priority Requirements

• Three to five years of certified ServiceNow application development and administration experience is required.
• Experience across at least two modules, including ITSM, HR, ITOM, or Custom Apps, is required.
• Experience with catalogs, business rules, scripting, workflows, Flow Designer, ACLs, and integrations is required.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems or using REST APIs is required.

Collaboration and Implementation

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, business, vendors, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and process workflows.
• Design, build, and deploy applications, workflows, forms, scripts, features, and enhancements.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications.

Reporting and Delivery

• Create and optimize reports, dashboards, KPIs, SLAs, volume metrics, and trend reports.
• Manage Agile work through backlog management, sprint planning, scrum calls, and daily synchronization.
• Create and maintain technical specifications, configuration guides, procedures, and runbooks.

Platform Support

• Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve incidents, problems, requests, and events across modules and custom applications.
• Manage user access and data integrity.
• Plan, execute, and test ServiceNow upgrades with stakeholders.
• Identify optimization opportunities and implement automation where possible.

Training

• Provide training and guidance to junior team members on ServiceNow development best practices.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer certifications are required.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow HR, ITOM, ITSM, and Custom App modules is required.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, REST API, and JSON is required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Fluency in reading and speaking English is required.
