Role Overview

TaskUs is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to advance its IT Service Management maturity.

The role owns technical design, development, integration, support, and continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform.

The position collaborates with stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy ServiceNow functionalities, features, and complex integrations with minimal supervision.
  • Analyze business processes and propose optimal technical solutions.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives with stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Create and maintain process, project, and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical support, platform maintenance, and customized reports.
  • Identify platform risks and escalate critical issues to management.

Required Qualifications

  • 7–8 years of overall IT experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development.
  • Ability to build and configure Workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management processes and industry best practices.
  • Solid JavaScript coding capability with working knowledge of Java, HTML, and CSS.
  • Practical understanding of ServiceNow Service Portal development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and technical communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is highly preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM certification is preferred.
