About the Role

Responsibilities
- Coordinates, leads and participates in the activities of a team of technicians in the maintenance, diagnoses, and repair of vehicles
- Plan, assign, and direct the work of the auto technicians
- Inspect the work of technicians to ensure principal and Company standards are met
- Train technicians in new procedures
- Analyze work orders to understand vehicle condition, accuracy of diagnosis, and labor time; requisition parts, compute work orders, prepare service records and reports
- Clarify with Service Advisor if work order is not clear or seems incorrect
- Determine which parts and tools will be required for a given repair or service and ensure their availability
- Complete routine services and repairs within assigned timeframes
- Document completed work orders including repairs conducted, parts required, and labor involved
- Document additional services or repairs conducted on vehicles and any other vehicle problems noted
Requirements
- Related diploma or certificate from a technical school or training
- 4 years’ experience in a dealership service outlet conducting routine services on automobiles
- Technical knowledge of various service requirements and diagnoses of issues in one or more of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Transmission or air conditioning
- Good communications skills
- Fluent in English; Arabic desirable

High level Job Purpose Statement
- Supervises a team of auto technicians to conduct routine and advanced diagnostics, service, and repairs on customer vehicles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervision
- Coordinates, leads and participates in the activities of a team of technicians in the maintenance, diagnoses, and repair of vehicles brought into the service facility
- Plan, assign, and direct the work of the auto technicians
- Inspect the work of technicians to ensure principal and Company standards are met
- Train technicians in new procedures
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and procedures
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Service and Repair
- Analyze work orders (Job Cards) to understand a vehicle’s condition, the accuracy of the diagnosis, and labor time agreed; requisition parts, compute work orders, prepare service records and reports as required
- Clarify with the Service Advisor if the work order is not clear or seems incorrect
- Determine which parts and tools will be required for a given repair or service and ensure their availability Inform the Service Advisor if additional parts need to be ordered
- Complete routine services and repairs within the assigned timeframes
- Document completed work orders to include the repairs conducted, the parts required, and the labor involved
- Document additional services or repairs conducted on vehicles
- Document any other vehicle problems noted during servicing and document any additional repairs to be completed, the parts required, and the labor to be charged in order to gain customer approval
Minimum Requirements for the Role
- Related diploma or certificate from a technical school or training
- 4 years’ experience in a dealership service outlet conducting routine services on automobiles
- Technical knowledge of various service requirements and diagnoses of issues in one or more of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Transmission or air conditioning
