- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of MV and LV electrical distribution networks, including switchgear, protection relays, and associated equipment
- Provide expert technical and commercial guidance on ABB's Electrification Service portfolio solutions
- Support sales teams during customer meetings, technical presentations, negotiations, and bid clarifications
- Prepare and coordinate high quality technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements and ABB guidelines
- Ensure all proposals meet commercial, legal, technical, and pricing standards while maintaining competitiveness
- Develop solution costing, assess commercial viability, and contribute to bid/no bid decisions and risk assessments
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of accurate and competitive offers
- Provide technical and commercial support to the sales organization to develop optimized, customer focused service solutions
- Coordinate customer communication and follow ups to enhance customer engagement and improve win rates on LCM services
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into tailored technical and commercial solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience in solutions tendering and proposal development
- Strong English communication and negotiation skills (written and verbal)
- Strong technical expertise in MV/LV electrical distribution networks and switchgear applications
- Background in digital solutions or Industry 4.0 technologies
- Strong expertise in selling advisory services and Life Cycle Management (LCM) solutions
- Experience with sales enablement tools and CRM platforms
- Familiarity with market analysis and competitive positioning methodologies

Job Description

Your Role And Responsibilities
- To support the Sales organization and customers through the proposal process by providing accurate technical descriptions, competitive cost determination, and high quality documentation for Standard (STD) and Configure to Order (CTO) offerings.
- The work model for the role is: Onsite.
- This role is contributing to the Electrification Services (ELSE) in UAE.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
- Demonstrating strong technical knowledge of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical distribution networks, including switchgear, protection relays, and associated electrical equipment.
- Providing expert technical and commercial guidance on ABB's Electrification Service portfolio solutions.
- Supporting sales teams during customer meetings, technical presentations, negotiations, and bid clarifications by leveraging product, service, and application expertise.
- Preparing and coordinating high quality technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements, ABB guidelines, and business objectives.
- Ensuring all proposals meet commercial, legal, technical, and pricing standards while maintaining competitiveness.
- Developing solution costing, assessing commercial viability, and contribute to bid/no bid decisions and risk assessments.
- Coordinating internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of accurate and competitive offers.
- Providing technical and commercial support to the sales organization to develop optimized, customer focused service solutions.
- Coordinating customer communication and follow ups to enhance customer engagement and improve win rates on Life Cycle Management (LCM) services with key accounts.

Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience in solutions tendering and proposal development.
- Strong English communication and negotiation skills (written and verbal) — essential.
- Strong technical expertise in MV/LV electrical distribution networks and switchgear applications.
- Background in digital solutions or Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Strong expertise in selling advisory services and Life Cycle Management (LCM) solutions.
