Service Project Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Execute compression service orders covering parts, repairs, field service, long-term projects, modifications, upgrades, and complete outage projects.
• Manage the backlog of service orders and customer communication throughout execution.
• Organize teams, assign responsibilities, develop schedules, and determine resource needs.
• Coordinate technical support, engineering, product competency centers, sales, parts, and field service teams.
• Monitor KPIs covering revenue, EBIT, on-time delivery, budget, customer satisfaction, NPS, claims, and cash collection.
• Forecast deliveries with finance and coordinate execution with regional and global project organizations.
• Prepare internal status reports and customer progress reports according to contractual requirements.
• Mitigate risks, maximize opportunities, communicate issues early, and coordinate outage planning and staffing.
• Maintain project documentation and follow compliance, EHS, quality, and internal procedures.
• Domestic and international travel of approximately 20–30% may be required.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, logistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant project management experience.
• Oil and gas or rotating equipment service experience is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Computer literacy and Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• Proficiency in project management and/or order management tools and concepts.
• Salesforce CRM and SAP or other ERP familiarity is highly desirable.
• Fluent English is required; additional regional languages are advantageous.
