Service Controller - Weston, Earthmoving

Your Profile

• Assist the After Sales Manager in carrying out the duties required to support the Service Department and provide industry-leading customer service.
• Act as the first point of contact for inbound service calls and enquiries in a proactive, professional, and efficient manner, obtaining customer details, order numbers, and any required authorisations.
• Assist in coordinating parts, labour, tooling, and other resources required for the efficient completion of service and repair work.
• Raise and process Sales Orders, Work Orders, Purchase Requests, and Supplier Invoices for both internal departments and external customers.
• Close jobs in a timely manner, accurately justifying costs incurred to both internal and external customers, and effectively manage the depot's work in progress (WIP) to ensure prompt invoicing.
• Liaise with customers to schedule jobs through the Repairs mailbox and ensure all relevant information is communicated in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with Field Service Engineers, suppliers, and internal departments to support efficient operations and prepare estimates for additional work opportunities to generate sales.
• Support the preparation of estimates, quotations, and defect documentation for additional work requirements.
• Take ownership of supplier communications, including raising purchase orders and closing them upon receipt of goods.
• Identify and develop additional sales opportunities through customer service interactions.
• Maintain organised and accurate filing systems, ensuring all documentation is completed, updated, and stored promptly and efficiently.
