Responsibilities
- Administer Exchange environments.
- Support multiple environments.
- Perform backup restorations for users.
- Troubleshoot issues escalated from first- and second-level user support helpdesks.
- Propose and implement system and procedural enhancements.
- Monitor system usage and performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Document implementations for knowledge transfer.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades.
- Project-manage and lead solo or team projects.
- Mentor more junior systems administrators.
What You Will Need
- Experience administering, managing, and implementing upgrades for Exchange.
- Knowledge of multiple operating systems, related utilities, and hardware.
- Experience building server systems and installing applications.
- Experience with storage management, TCP/IP, system monitoring, and monitoring tools.
- Experience with SCCM patching tools.
- Experience with hypervisors.
- A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Bonus Skills
- Specific expertise with Exchange administration, Windows Server, Linux, NetApp, Nutanix, HP servers, HP StoreOnce, Hyper-V, AOS, SQL Server, Domino Notes Server, HYCU, or Veeam is advantageous.
Compensation
- Salary is $79,000 to $110,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications.
- The position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program based on performance and applicable plan terms.
