Role overview
Buro Happold is recruiting an experienced Senior Wet Utilities Engineer for its Bengaluru office and global infrastructure projects.
The role is part of a multidisciplinary engineering practice delivering building and city solutions.
Your next role
- Manage and oversee wet utility design and planning, including water, wastewater, stormwater, pipelines, utility coordination, and modelling.
- Guide others in Civil3D, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, AutoCAD, and BIM.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and regulations and coordinate approvals with service provider agencies.
- Collaborate with disciplines, municipalities, city development offices, and transport administrations.
- Use Civil 3D, MIKE Plus, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, EPANET, ArcGIS, and Excel for project execution.
- Prepare designs, drawings, technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
- Assist project and discipline leads while planning workloads and mentoring junior technical staff.
Skills and experience
- The ideal experience range is 6-12 years.
- Experience with multidisciplinary projects, masterplan engineering, roads, utility coordination, and highway drainage.
- Ability to formulate options, perform holistic analysis, and recommend sustainable infrastructure solutions.
