Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field.
- Software development experience in PHP or similar language (10+ years).
- Expert knowledge of object oriented programming.
- Expert knowledge of relational databases, such as MySQL.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of version control tools, such as Subversion or Git.
- Linux command line and server management experience is a plus.
- Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
- Consultative skills in order to understand the technical needs of the client, the ability to determine any problems or unmet needs the client may face and an aptitude for solving complex problems.
- Ability to communicate professionally in written responses with extreme detail to customer requirements in support of solution development and delivery.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
Specifically your duties will include the following: Guiding team members through design and implementation Solving client problems and interpreting customer requirements Troubleshoot, test and maintain existing software applications Provide technical assistance and product education to clients Liaise with other technical experts Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle Follow industry best practices
