Responsibilities
- Act as subject matter expert for Corporate Actions across the wealth management platform
- Provide oversight of corporate action events administered through the firm's global custodian
- Review and monitor mandatory corporate actions including dividends, coupon payments, stock splits, redemptions, mergers, spin offs
- Take ownership of voluntary corporate actions and client elections including rights issues, tender offers, exchange offers, proxy voting
- Coordinate with Investment Advisors and Relationship Managers to communicate options to clients and collect election instructions
- Monitor event deadlines, entitlements, and custodian notifications
- Act as primary liaison with custodians and counterparties for corporate action related queries
- Develop and maintain robust controls, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Provide operational support across settlements, trade monitoring, cash and security transfers, payment processing
Requirements
- Minimum 4 5 years of direct Corporate Actions experience within wealth management, private banking, securities services, custody, brokerage, or asset management
- Strong hands on experience managing both mandatory and voluntary corporate action events
- Proven experience handling client elections, entitlement processing, event monitoring, and exception management
- Experience working with global custodians and third party platform providers
- Understanding of the operational lifecycle of securities transactions
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proactive, solutions oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Role Overview

- The role will broaden to support additional operational activities as a founding member of the operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as subject matter expert for Corporate Actions across the wealth management platform.
- Provide oversight of corporate action events administered through the firm's global custodian.
- Review and monitor mandatory corporate actions including dividends, coupon payments, stock splits, redemptions, mergers, spin offs.
- Take ownership of voluntary corporate actions and client elections including rights issues, tender offers, exchange offers, proxy voting.
- Coordinate with Investment Advisors and Relationship Managers to communicate options and collect election instructions.
- Monitor event deadlines, entitlements, and custodian notifications.
- Act as primary liaison with custodians and counterparties for corporate action related queries.
- Develop and maintain robust controls, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Provide operational support across settlements, trade monitoring, cash and security transfers, payment processing, and exception management.
- Liaise with custodians, brokers, and internal stakeholders for efficient day to day operations.
- Support monitoring and control of operational risks.
- Contribute to development of scalable operational processes and controls.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 4 5 years of direct Corporate Actions experience within wealth management, private banking, securities services, custody, brokerage, or asset management.
- Strong hands on experience managing both mandatory and voluntary corporate action events.
- Proven experience handling client elections, entitlement processing, event monitoring, and exception management.
- Experience working with global custodians and third party platform providers.
- Understanding of the operational lifecycle of securities transactions.
- Exposure to settlements, cash management, payments, or broader securities operations advantageous.
- Experience contributing to process design, operational controls, and service improvements highly desirable.
