Role Overview
The Senior Voice Engineer designs, implements, administers, supports, and optimizes enterprise Cisco Unified Communications and collaboration infrastructure.
The role supports enterprise voice, contact center, conferencing, cloud collaboration, virtualization, Cisco UCS, and multivendor integrations.
The position provides Tier 3 support and leads infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and service improvement activities.
Cisco Collaboration and Contact Center
- Administer CUCM, CUC, CER, Cisco Expressway, dial plans, route patterns, device pools, media resources, and call routing policies.
- Implement and support UCCX, Cisco Finesse, IVR applications, IPCC/UCCX scripts, call routing, reporting, and service availability.
- Perform upgrades, patches, backups, health checks, monitoring, and capacity management.
Voice, Virtualization, and Cloud
- Configure and support Cisco CUBE, SRST, SIP, H.323, MGCP, dial peers, voice gateways, AudioCodes SBCs, and SIP trunks.
- Deploy and maintain Cisco UCS B-Series and C-Series servers and VMware ESXi and vSphere collaboration workloads.
- Manage Webex Calling, Webex Control Hub, Cisco Meeting Server, Microsoft Teams integration, and virtual Cisco CUBE in Azure.
