Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and administer VMware vSphere environments including ESXi and vCenter
- Manage VMware vSAN clusters and hyper converged infrastructure (HCI), including Dell VxRail
- Perform virtual machine lifecycle management including provisioning, cloning, snapshots, migrations, and decommissioning
- Configure and maintain High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), and Fault Tolerance (FT)
- Administer virtual networking including Standard and Distributed Virtual Switches (vSS/vDS) and VMkernel networking
- Plan and execute ESXi and vCenter upgrades, patching, and maintenance
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance using VMware monitoring tools such as vRealize Operations
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2008 R2–2022)
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and file/print services
- Manage Hyper V infrastructure, failover clustering, and enterprise virtualization services
- Administer enterprise backup solutions including Veeam, Commvault, Cohesity, and Dell EMC Networker
- Design, maintain, and document backup and disaster recovery strategies
Requirements
- 10–15+ years of hands on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, virtualization, cloud technologies, and systems administration
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Deep technical expertise in VMware vSphere, Windows Server, backup/disaster recovery, storage, Azure, and networking
- Proven experience supporting large scale, multi site enterprise environments
- Preferred certifications: VCP DCV, MCSA, AZ 900/AZ 104, Zerto Certified Associate

Position Overview
- Senior Virtualization & Cloud Infrastructure Specialist
- 10–15+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience required
- Responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting highly available, scalable, and secure virtual and cloud environments
Key Responsibilities
- VMware Infrastructure Administration: Deploy, configure, administer vSphere, vSAN, HCI, VM lifecycle, HA/DRS/FT, virtual networking, upgrades, monitoring
- Windows Server Administration: Install, configure, maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Hyper V, failover clustering
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Administer Veeam, Commvault, Cohesity, Dell EMC Networker; configure backups; design DR strategies using SRM and Zerto
- Storage Administration: Provision and manage SAN/NAS, VMFS/NFS datastores, Dell EMC, HPE 3PAR/MSA, Unity, Pure Storage
- Microsoft Azure Administration: Deploy and manage Azure VMs, networking, storage, monitoring, security, backup and Site Recovery
- Network Infrastructure: Support LAN/WAN, configure VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, firewall policies, administer Cisco switches and routers
- Leadership & Strategic: Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, mentor junior engineers, develop documentation, capacity planning, on call support
