About the Role
HanmiGlobal is seeking a highly qualified Senior Transport Engineer to join our program management team in Saudi Arabia. You will deliver program-level transportation engineering expertise and technical governance for a mega land and infrastructure development program in Riyadh.

Responsibilities
- Review and assess transportation planning reports, traffic studies, mobility strategies, transportation models, engineering calculations, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with approved standards, Client's requirements, and project objectives.
- Evaluate transportation solutions for safety, accessibility, operational efficiency, capacity, sustainability, resilience, and long term mobility performance.
- Review road network planning, traffic operations, multimodal transport systems, pedestrian and cycling facilities, public realm connectivity, and transportation infrastructure.
- Assess traffic impact assessments, transportation demand studies, accessibility analyses, and mobility planning initiatives.
- Ensure effective integration of transportation systems with roads, utilities, drainage, public realm, land use planning, and other infrastructure disciplines.
- Support technical governance by reviewing transportation related compliance, design modifications, engineering deviations, and Value Engineering proposals.
- Assess the impacts of design changes on traffic operations, safety, accessibility, network capacity, cost, schedule, and overall program performance.
- Identify transportation related risks and provide technical recommendations to support informed engineering decisions and proactive mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with Lead Developers, consultants, contractors, transportation authorities, government agencies, and regulatory bodies regarding transportation planning, approvals, and technical compliance.
- Prepare transportation engineering assessments, technical review comments, executive summaries, and recommendations for the Technical Manager, PMCM Management, and the Client.
- Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews, technical workshops, coordination meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessions while promoting engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or related discipline.
- Chartered Professional membership or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Minimum fifteen (15) years of professional experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, mobility systems, transportation infrastructure, urban development, or major infrastructure programs.
- Experience within PMCM, PMC, consultancy, infrastructure delivery, or client side organizations, preferably on major land development and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.

Job Purpose
- HanmiGlobal is seeking a highly qualified Senior Transport Engineer to join our program management and PMCM team in Saudi Arabia.
- In this role, you will deliver program level transportation engineering expertise and technical governance for a mega multi work package land and infrastructure development program in Riyadh, delivered on behalf of a major government entity.
- You will be providing program level technical expertise, engineering assurance, and collaborative oversight for reviewing and monitoring all transportation planning and traffic engineering across the program.
