About the Role
CNN Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to oversee development, release, and continuous improvement for digital products.
The role serves as delivery lead for three Scrum teams within CNN’s Platforms group.
The focus is roadmap delivery and dependency management for the Editorial Experience group.
Program Leadership and Delivery
- Own technical program management for CMS, editorial workflows, and editorial tooling used by multiple CNN digital products.
- Develop multi-quarter roadmaps and program plans covering scope, milestones, success metrics, dependencies, and resources.
- Set delivery standards and operating practices, and mentor program managers and delivery leads.
- Sequence delivery, define release plans and launch criteria, track progress, and manage risks and dependencies.
Coordination and Stakeholders
- Coordinate dependent teams, define requirements, and promote clear communication across project stakeholders.
- Drive technical discussions with engineering teams about architecture, solution design, integrations, and testing.
- Provide updates to executives, partner organizations, and vendors, escalating issues with recommended actions.
