Role Overview
The employer is expanding its Technical Office team and hiring a Senior Electrical Technical Office Engineer.
The role supports commercial, mixed-use, and infrastructure projects through engineering deliverables, specification and authority compliance, multidisciplinary coordination, and advanced site support.
Technical Office Responsibilities
- Review and approve electrical shop drawings covering LV, MV, ELV, lighting, power, earthing, cable routing, and single-line diagrams.
- Prepare technical submittals, load schedules, voltage-drop calculations, short-circuit studies, and equipment datasheets.
- Verify designs and identify gaps, clashes, and inconsistencies in consultant and contractor submissions.
- Manage BIM coordination, model accuracy, clash resolution, RFIs, and BEP alignment.
- Provide technical support to site teams and prepare method statements, installation details, and technical reports.
Procurement and Compliance
- Review procurement packages, evaluate vendor technical offers, and participate in technical negotiations.
- Ensure electrical materials comply with SASO, SEC, SBC, IEC, NFPA 70, and local authority requirements.
- Support testing and commissioning documentation, checklists, and readiness reviews.
