Role overview
Lead a team shaping the future of pharmacy management systems at Loblaw.
Work across software development, architecture, cloud platforms, DevOps, and technical strategy.
The Loblaw hybrid work model requires four days in the office.
What you'll do
- Provide support and technical expertise to the Pharmacy Solutions and Technology Center of Excellence.
- Ensure projects meet agreed timelines, quality goals, and post-launch supportability.
- Solve complex technology problems from solution identification through production implementation.
- Improve developer experience by removing development barriers and supporting an effective DevOps process.
- Lead direct reports through coaching, mentoring, and hands-on assistance.
- Prioritize business and technical requirements to establish a complete backlog and limit technical debt.
- Ensure projects use modern architecture and Loblaw-approved technologies and governance.
What you bring
- At least five years of hands-on experience in modern software engineering and architecture.
- Experience creating and working with Spring Boot microservices.
- Experience with cloud-native design patterns, cloud platforms, cloud APIs, and scalability.
