Senior Systems Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

2+ years of industry experience in engineering product development.

Experience developing, integrating, or testing robotic, electromechanical, mechatronic, or other multidisciplinary systems.

Experience with hands-on concept development, prototyping, system integration, testing, or troubleshooting.

Experience applying structured problem-solving to technical challenges, including developing concepts, evaluating alternatives, conducting experiments, and using data to make engineering decisions.

Experience translating product, customer, or technical needs into engineering specifications, requirements, or design criteria.

Familiarity with technical programming, modeling, or scripting tools such as MATLAB, C, C++, Python, or similar.

Experience in medical devices or another regulated or safety-critical industry.

Experience with systems engineering practices including requirements development, decomposition, traceability, and verification.

Experience with requirements management tools such as Jama or similar platforms.

Experience developing test criteria, performing trade studies, or applying statistical analysis to support design decisions.

Experience with algorithm development, modeling, simulation, or rapid prototyping.

Experience working directly with customers, clinicians, or end users to understand needs and evaluate product concepts.

Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across technical disciplines and adapt to changing priorities.
