Senior Systems Analyst (Finance)

Job Summary and Purpose

SAP Implementation and Support

• Participate in SAP FSCM, SAP TRM, and SAP FICO implementation and provide system support and continuous improvement.
• Provide post-implementation support to Finance, Controlling, Project Systems, and Treasury users.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including GR/IR clearing, foreign currency valuations, settlements, allocations, and balance carryforwards.
• Design and configure enhancements, RFC changes, and break-fix service desk tickets in SAP FSCM and SAP TRM.

Solution Delivery and Training

• Implement Qatar legal requirements such as withholding tax and support finance-related process improvements.
• Work with SAP ABAP and SAP Basis teams on custom developments, enhancements, roles, authorization matrices, and conflict-of-duty controls.
• Create SAP training materials and provide training to end users.
• Assist with business analytical reports and dashboards using Power BI and SAP Datasphere.

Documentation and Problem Management

• Maintain RFCs for production support issues and maintain project, business process, and configuration documentation.
• Work with business users and relevant departments to analyze, investigate, resolve, and document issues and solutions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• A specialized certificate in FICO or FSCM is required.

Experience

• Five to seven years of SAP experience, including a minimum of three years in a similar position, is required.
• Experience in a similar industry is preferred.

Job-Specific Skills

• Advanced knowledge of SAP FSCM, SAP TRM, and SAP FICO modules is required.
• Knowledge of finance sub-modules, S/4 solutions, BTP, Fiori Apps, SAP interfaces, and integrations is required.
• Strong business data-modelling knowledge, preferably using SAP Datasphere, is required.
• Ability to develop business analytical dashboards using Power BI and knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform tools are required.
• Good client-facing, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required.
