Role Overview
BAE Systems is seeking a Senior System Tester to support quality assurance across complex systems.
The role focuses on validating functionality, performance, reliability, and high-quality delivery in a high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end testing activities from test planning through closure.
- Design and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
- Validate integrations across multiple components and platforms.
- Analyze real-time data flows for accuracy and consistency.
- Log and track defects with development teams through resolution.
- Review requirements and system designs for testability and coverage.
- Support simulation and scenario-based testing where applicable.
- Mentor junior testers and promote testing best practices.
- Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and operations.
- Perform other testing duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant system or software testing experience.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
