What You Will Do
Plan and lead tasks to deliver results with cross-functional integration.
Coach/mentor team members.
Perform structural analysis of High-Pressure Compressor (HPC) components via hand calculations and finite element analysis with minimal oversight.
Utilize analysis results to provide recommendations/proposals to the Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Work closely with all engineering disciplines on the IPT to identify balanced solutions to technical tasks.
Utilize the latest P&W structural best practices and analytical tools.
Provide documentation of analyses in the form of formal reports and presentations for management and customers.
Travel up to 10%
Qualifications You Must Have
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in Engineering and 3 years of prior relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Strong knowledge of Airfoils/Blades
Proficiency in structural finite element methods.

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)
Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.
Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
