The Senior Strategic Business Analyst analyzes, defines, and maps organizational processes, stakeholder capabilities, and mission requirements to deliver comprehensive execution plans.
The Senior Strategic Business Analyst is responsible for the identification, documentation, and validation of statutory mandates, executive directives, and operational dependencies across multi-agency boundaries.
The analyst utilizes systematic and collaborative frameworks to translate high-level strategies into clear objectives and actionable requirements for executive decision makers.
Additionally, the Senior Strategic Business Analyst is responsible for conducting operational gap analyses, tracing performance deficiencies back to root causes, and formulating detailed Courses of Action (COAs) including schedule projections, and resource allocation mapping to guide organizational modernization and capability expansion.
Due to the sensitive nature of the potential customer agencies, an active Top Secret clearance is highly desired; candidates must, at a minimum, be Top Secret (TS) eligible.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Policy/Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Operations Research, Political Science, or a related analytical/technical discipline.
A Master’s degree (MBA, MPP, or MS in a related field) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive, relevant professional experience supporting federal civilian agencies, specifically within the homeland security, federal law enforcement, or justice sectors.
Relevant experience includes: Interfacing with senior government executives; translating statutory mandates into operational requirements; business process mapping; and developing risk-adjusted Courses of Action (COAs).
An equivalent combination of advanced education, certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma), and additional years of highly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of strict degree or years-of-experience requirements.
Must be Top Secret (TS) eligible at a minimum.
An active Top Secret (TS) clearance is highly desired and strongly preferred at the time of hire due to the security requirements of potential customer portfolios.
