About the Role

Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of strategic account plans at key named accounts
- Drive new business development by researching, qualifying, contacting, presenting and closing new clients
- Develop relationships with priority customer stakeholders and understand their key business issues
- Liaise between field and Global Accounts teams for new agreements and value add commitments
- Maintain and manage a pipeline of opportunities at named accounts
- Communicate customer activity, opportunity status, and strategic plan progress to management
- Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs
- Engage supplier sales resources to enlist support and create solutions
- Take the lead in high level sales engagements and provide coaching to branch sales team
Requirements
- High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5+ years proven sales experience as a strategic account manager of large account portfolios
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects
- History of success maintaining and developing key relationships
- Success in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel up to 25%

Job Description

- Lead One Wesco go to market strategy across data center, network infrastructure, electrical, security, power, and managed services.

Qualifications

Compensation Details
- CAD 129,350 CAD 161,688 Annually.
- May include participation in bonus or sales incentive plan.
- Benefits program includes paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings.
