Job Summary
Join our world-class team in Pune to play a pivotal role in architecting a more secure foundation for the enterprise browser landscape. As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will shape the core of our Chromium-based enterprise browser, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in security. This is an opportunity to leave a lasting mark on the future of enterprise security by pioneering innovative solutions and leading complex technical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of critical features, from conception and design to deployment and maintenance, for our Chromium-based enterprise browser.
- Conduct in-depth research into low-level operating systems and spearhead the development of innovative solutions to bolster enterprise security.
- Mentor and guide fellow engineers, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes technical excellence and shared ownership.
- Proactively collaborate and exchange information with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product goals and technical execution.
- Set a high standard for quality by driving continuous improvements in development processes, tools, and overall product architecture.
- Tackle and resolve complex performance, multi-threading, and security challenges across various platforms including Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
- Articulate a clear technical vision and influence the technical direction of the product through effective communication and data-driven proposals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a relevant role Strong Experience in Typescript, ReactJS, Javascript, and Chrome extension development.
- Experience in Content scripts,Background services
- Experience in API integration
- Exceptional debugging skills with the ability to unravel complexities using various tools on Windows, MacOS, and/or Linux platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Microservice architecture developed in Go Experience in React UI
- Experience Python
- Knowledge on Security best practices (CSP, permission minimizations)
- Familiarity with web browser fundamentals, including concepts like cookies, sandboxing, and user profiles
