Infrastructure Architecture & Strategy (30%)
Design and evolve scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure spanning multiple regions and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Lead infrastructure-as-code (IaC) initiatives using CloudFormation, Terraform, and other tooling; establish patterns and standards for infrastructure management
Architect and implement disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience strategies
Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives, implementing governance, monitoring, and rightsizing strategies to achieve operational efficiency
Establish and maintain security baselines, compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.), and infrastructure hardening standards
CI/CD Platform & Automation (15%)
Design and manage enterprise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms
Build and maintain self-service deployment platforms that enable developers to ship code with confidence
Lead testing shift left initiatives, including static code analysis, security scanning, and automated deployment validation.
Establish release engineering practices, version control strategies, and deployment orchestration across environments
Observability, Monitoring & Incident Response (15%)
Design comprehensive monitoring, logging, metrics, and tracing infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, or equivalent
Establish SLI/SLO frameworks and error budgeting practices; define meaningful alerting and on-call procedures
Lead incident response and post-mortem processes; drive reliability improvements through systematic root cause analysis
