A client of Discovered MENA is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to act as a strategic advisor for C-suite executives and regulatory bodies in the fintech/banking sector. The role focuses on advisory and design, bridging financial requirements with technical designs.

Responsibilities
- Act as a primary technical advisor during the pre sales phase to design custom solutions based on specific client needs
- Lead architecture workshops with financial institutions and technology vendors to facilitate design reviews
- Work closely with Business Development teams to pitch sophisticated technical platforms to senior leadership
- Transform financial and regulatory requirements into detailed technical designs that meet strict governance standards
- Embed security by design across identity management, data protection, and threat modeling
- Collaborate with data scientists to ensure AI driven components are explainable and meet regulatory expectations
- Mentor engineers and designers to uplift the overall architectural maturity of the team
- Review vendor proposals and deliverables to ensure they meet high quality and compliance benchmarks
Requirements
- Deep understanding of financial requirements and regulatory standards (e.g., CBUAE)
- Experience in pre sales and designing custom solutions for financial institutions
- Ability to lead architecture workshops with financial institutions and technology vendors
- Strong knowledge of security by design, identity management, data protection, and threat modeling
- Experience mentoring engineers and designers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
