Senior Software Validation Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Define validation strategy, test plans, and release qualification criteria.
• Lead validation across hardware, firmware, drivers, SDKs, runtimes, compilers, and Linux platforms.
• Validate AI and machine learning workloads, including LLMs, VLMs, computer vision, NLP, and generative AI.
• Develop and maintain automated validation frameworks using Python and CI/CD.
• Perform functional, performance, stress, scalability, and reliability testing.
• Drive root-cause analysis, performance characterization, and release sign-off.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of system, platform, or semiconductor validation experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Bash, and C/C++.
• Experience with Linux, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Expertise in validation automation, performance benchmarking, and debugging.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX Runtime, and AI inference validation.
• Knowledge of PCIe, embedded Linux, device drivers, networking, and AI accelerators.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant computer science, electronics, electrical engineering, or embedded systems field.
• AI accelerator or semiconductor product validation experience is highly preferred.
