We’re seeking a dynamic engineering leader to head a new secure processing solutions team developing mission-critical capabilities for next-generation U.S. military products. This is your opportunity to lead cutting-edge work in secure processing software, alongside top engineers in software, hardware, FPGA, and systems design.
As the Senior Software Engineering Manager, you’ll guide a high-performing team responsible for developing secure embedded software that will be reviewed and validated by certification authorities. Ensure Compliance and Process Adherence: Uphold Collins' standards and procedures, ensuring all engineering activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
Qualifications You Must Have
Experience leading engineering teams, including mentoring, task delegation, and cross-functional collaboration in a technical development environment
Experience in program execution, including bidding, project planning, Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk and opportunity management
Experienced with embedded software development
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
