Senior Software Engineer- Software Architect

We are seeking a Senior Software Architect to serve as a technical linchpin for our most complex cloud-native and hybrid projects.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level architectural vision and hands-on engineering excellence.

You will lead the design and implementation of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) environments, air-gapped infrastructure, and mission-critical landing zones.

• Location : Primarily Remote. Candidates must be based in CA or DC Metro Area for proximity to project and client teams.
• Security Clearance Requirement: Applicants must be US citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance or above.

• Lead the architectural design of scalable cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with long-term mission goals and security requirements.
• Define reference architectures for cloud landing zones, establishing comprehensive blueprints for secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud environments across major providers
• Optimize technical architectures for mission-critical applications and their supporting cloud environments, focusing on performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

• Implement SRE best practices, building advanced observability stacks and automating incident response.
• Lead the development of custom tooling and reusable accelerators to automate complex operational workflows.
• Design for resilience - engineer self-healing systems and disaster recovery protocols for disconnected or air-gapped environments.
