Role overview
Build and operate internal engineering platforms that help teams build, test, comply, and ship faster.
The scope includes CI/CD infrastructure and Python tooling and services for quality, compliance, and engineering workflows.
The role provides end-to-end ownership across design, implementation, rollout, and operability.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Python tools and services, including CLIs and APIs.
- Raise software engineering quality through architecture, testing, reviews, releases, and documentation.
- Automate CI/CD workflows and platform operations with an infrastructure-as-code and reliability mindset.
- Operate monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance troubleshooting components.
- Understand engineering workflow pain points and deliver pragmatic platform solutions.
- Handle occasional support tickets and incidents, including triage, mitigation, and postmortems.
Required qualifications
- 8–10 years of professional experience building production-grade Python software.
- B.Tech or B.E. degree.
- Strong engineering practices covering clean design, tests, maintainable architecture, CI, and documentation.
