Senior Software Engineer - Platform

Job Description

What You Will Do

• Design distributed systems infrastructure and data unification pipelines across heterogeneous business systems.
• Build scalable platforms supporting more than 500 consumer attributes and regulatory requirements.
• Own architecture and implementation from system design through production deployment.
• Write production-grade Python, Golang, and Node.js code.
• Build testing, monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Improve availability, data freshness, query performance, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with ML teams on training, inference, and continuous learning infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence technical direction across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with high-throughput distributed data platforms.
• Strong SQL, NoSQL, data warehouse, and data lake experience.
• Experience building scalable, secure, and highly available applications.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Sentry, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK.
• Strong production troubleshooting expertise.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, coordination, collaboration, and self-learning abilities.

Technology Stack

• Services use Python, Golang, and Node.js.
• Databases and data platforms include MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Databricks.
• Deployments use EKS, EC2, Lambda, Databricks, and other AWS services.
• GenAI tools listed include Cursor, Devin, Lovable, Bolt, Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.

Mode of Work

• The role is in-office in Bengaluru or Mumbai.

Additional Information
