What This Person Must Demonstrate
- Strong programming fundamentals across modern frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
- Evidence of independently shipping a real product or meaningful production feature.
- Product judgment, scope discipline, and willingness to challenge unnecessary complexity.
- Strong analytical debugging and the ability to fill missing context without waiting for a complete plan.
- Ownership through deployment, monitoring, customer feedback, and follow-up fixes.
- Heavy, thoughtful use of Claude, Codex, or similar AI coding tools without surrendering engineering judgment.
