Role Overview
Medibank Digital Engineering is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to lead its web capability.
The role focuses on Adobe Experience Manager, front-end and back-end technologies, reusable assets, and high-quality delivery across agile squads.
The role combines active development with mentoring, architecture guidance, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and delivery of AEM templates, components, authoring patterns, and backend integrations.
- Implement coding standards, component frameworks, OSGi best practices, and secure, testable patterns.
- Develop with Java, Sling, OSGi, AEM components and templates, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Build front-end experiences with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and SASS or LESS.
- Participate in agile planning, estimation, story refinement, and code reviews.
- Provide L2 and L3 production support, incident response, and continuous improvement.
