About Scope

Scope builds an AI-native data collection layer for field workers and helps inspectors collect data, make decisions, and produce reports.

The company is building a large dataset about the condition of the built world and the decisions experts make about it.

About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer will own product problems end to end, including user conversations, prioritisation, solution design, shipping, and evaluation.

The role focuses on inventing inspection software for an AI-enabled future.

Workplace

The team works in person five days a week from its office in Farringdon.

What You Will Do

Build systems that turn voice notes, photos, and videos into completed reports.
Engineer how standards, reports, media, and user intent are stored, retrieved, and selected for AI models.
Evolve the workflow builder into self-evolving software.
Design architecture for unstructured data flows, AI integration, and seamless offline and online behavior.
Keep the product simple as it becomes more powerful.

Who You Are

You are deeply technical and enjoy building applications.
You have strong technical skills, ideally focused on mobile applications.
You have at least 5 years of experience and understand which technical decisions matter.
Expo or React Native experience is a significant advantage.
You are an agentic manager of one who prioritises shipping results.

Interview Process

The process includes an initial call, a collaborative technical exercise, a cofounder interview, and an onsite systems design and product interview.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a £120,000 to £150,000 base salary plus significant equity.
