Role Overview
Guardian Life is seeking a passionate Full Stack Developer for its Enterprise Business and Technology Services team.
The role creates and maintains features for a business-critical website.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and unit test website features.
- Align development with security standards and project governance requirements.
- Partner with product owners to decompose features.
- Work in a SAFe agile team with developers, QA, business users, internal teams, and external partners.
- Maintain existing software and software documentation.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 years of full-stack technology experience in J2EE and front-end technologies.
- Strong command of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React, Node.js, Next.js, NestJS, TypeScript, micro-frontends, JPA/Hibernate/iBatis, REST APIs, GraphQL, SQL, Oracle, and DB2.
- Familiarity with Apache Tomcat, AWS, and microservices.
- Strong release, build, and configuration management knowledge.
- Experience with software development lifecycle management using Scaled Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
- BA or BS degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Residence in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania.
