Role Overview
TeamViewer is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build platform services connecting its core remote connectivity platform with its Digital Employee Experience platform.
The role focuses on Java Spring and Kotlin services for authentication, authorization, user synchronization, and secure service-to-service communication.
The engineer will work as an individual contributor on an Agile team while mentoring junior members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance platform integration services across authentication federation, authorization federation, user synchronization, and cross-platform communication.
- Define architecture, design features, and develop services in Java with Spring and Kotlin.
- Work with token exchange, service principals, user-context authentication, and auditing across platform boundaries.
- Integrate, build, and deploy containerized solutions from test systems to production.
- Design secure, documented APIs and highly available database systems.
- Optimize software, ensure secure and scalable operation, and monitor technical developments for improvements.
- Guide, coach, and mentor team members on engineering topics and software development best practices.
- Advise product owners on feasibility and estimates and collaborate with DEX teams on interfaces and integration flows.
