Role overview
The Security Engineer joins an agile team designing, building, and improving security features across TeamViewer products and supporting infrastructure.
The role includes product security, infrastructure security, applied AI security, security automation, and consultation for engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement product security controls using secure-by-design principles.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities through threat modeling, security reviews, and hands-on testing.
- Integrate security into the software development lifecycle from design through deployment.
- Improve security architectures and prevent abuse scenarios in TeamViewer products.
- Build security automation, tooling, and processes for engineering teams.
- Advise product and engineering teams on risk-informed security decisions.
- Support initiatives to secure AI-driven features and use AI to improve security capabilities.
