Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack

Opportunity

What You Will Do

• Build and own features across Next.js, Node.js or Express, and Python or FastAPI service layers.
• Design real-time data flows using WebSockets, Kafka consumers, and Server-Sent Events.
• Develop data-dense dashboards, charts, grids, drag-and-drop layouts, and a conversational AI assistant.
• Maintain shared packages in the Turborepo monorepo.
• Integrate capital markets data infrastructure, KDB+/Q, time-series pipelines, and enterprise messaging.
• Build and optimize the authenticated backend-for-frontend proxy layer.
• Implement Redis and RTK Query caching strategies.
• Develop AI and LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, streamed responses, and prompt-driven features.
• Support Kubernetes reliability, Helm deployments, autoscaling, reverse proxy routing, and observability.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, portfolio managers, analysts, and product teams.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with significant full-stack development experience.
• Expert TypeScript proficiency in large, strictly typed codebases.
• Deep React and Next.js experience, including App Router, Server Components, middleware, API routes, and SSR or ISR.
• Strong Node.js, Express, REST API, middleware, and asynchronous data pipeline experience.
• Experience with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query, real-time systems, MongoDB, Redis, and monorepo tools.
• Experience with secure authentication and authorization, including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, LDAP/AD, and session management.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes deployments using Helm charts.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Capital markets or financial services experience with equities trading workflow knowledge.
• Python or FastAPI experience for AI or machine learning service layers.
• KDB+/Q, time-series databases, AI or LLM integration, RAG, prompt engineering, or streaming inference experience.
• Experience with Highcharts, D3, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, Solace, or similar technologies.
