Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software services.
• Build responsive front-end applications and integrate them with secure back-end APIs.
• Apply object-oriented design, SOLID principles, reusable patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Create multiple levels of automated tests and participate in peer reviews.
• Troubleshoot application, data, messaging, performance, and production issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD, observability, operational readiness, resiliency, and automation.
• Collaborate across product, architecture, testing, operations, and engineering teams.
• Guide less-experienced team members and own complex work through production support.

Essential skills and qualifications

• Have hands-on Java and Spring Boot development experience.
• Have experience with microservices, REST APIs, Kafka or similar messaging, and event-driven architecture.
• Have hands-on Angular experience with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Micro Front End architecture, and UX implementation.
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, reusable, and accessible Angular components.
• Know SQL or NoSQL databases, Git, automated testing, CI/CD, containers, and cloud-native platforms.
• Understand secure, scalable, resilient, and observable software design.
• Hold a relevant bachelor's degree or have equivalent practical experience.
• Have Agile and software development lifecycle experience and strong collaboration skills.
• Have hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and Claude CLI.

Preferred qualification

• Payments or financial-services domain knowledge is preferred.

Security responsibility

• Follow Mastercard security policies and practices when accessing company assets, information, and networks.
• Protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected security incidents, and complete mandatory security training.
