Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack will build fast, accessible, scalable, and intuitive web applications.
This is a frontend-focused full-stack role requiring strong modern frontend expertise and solid backend development experience.
The role translates complex business requirements into user experiences and delivers reusable, maintainable solutions across the stack.
Responsibilities
- Build reusable, high-performance UI components using ReactJS and/or EmberJS.
- Design responsive, accessible interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend practices.
- Own frontend architecture, performance optimization, rendering efficiency, and maintainability.
- Develop REST APIs and backend services using Ruby on Rails or Java.
- Contribute to backend development, databases, service integrations, and scalable application components.
- Debug complex frontend and full-stack issues and write clean, modular, testable code.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, SRE, and engineering teams.
- Contribute to design systems, accessibility standards, code reviews, architecture decisions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Adopt AI-powered tools and build reliable, observable applications with appropriate fault tolerance.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience with strong frontend development and backend exposure.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS; EmberJS experience is an advantage.
- Experience with frontend architecture, component-based development, state management, responsive design, and browser fundamentals.
- Understanding of frontend performance, rendering efficiency, accessibility, and UX best practices.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or Java and backend service development.
- Understanding of REST APIs, data structures, algorithms, OOP, design patterns, and clean code.
- Experience with relational databases and familiarity with caching, distributed queues, microservices, and service integrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and AWS or GCP.
- Experience in Agile, cross-functional engineering teams with strong communication and collaboration skills.
