About the role
The Advisory Account Manager owns a portfolio across the full customer lifecycle.
The role combines gross revenue retention with net expansion through a digital-first, data-driven customer motion.
Success is measured through renewal, expansion, adoption, account health, and proactive risk management.
Key responsibilities
- Own assigned accounts end-to-end and deliver renewal, retention, and expansion outcomes.
- Use tech-touch, low-touch, and one-to-many engagement based on customer segment and signals.
- Build Customer Success Plans, identify expansion whitespace, and flag churn or contraction risk.
- Run consultative value conversations focused on ROI, adoption, and business outcomes.
- Drive upsell and cross-sell revenue across the Freshworks product suite.
- Build save plans for at-risk accounts with Support, Billing, and Deal Desk.
- Use health scores, usage data, engagement signals, forecasting, and pipeline reporting.
- Partner with RevOps, Renewals, Sales, Support, and Product Marketing.
Requirements
- 1–4 years in Customer Success, Account Management, or SaaS sales.
- Experience carrying both retention and expansion or upsell targets.
