Role purpose

The role transforms requirements into software according to design to maximize business value and customer satisfaction.

The position supports secure, high-quality software development and delivery.

Key missions

  • Write software code using programming, scripting, and database languages while optimizing performance.
  • Identify reusable software components, libraries, and frameworks.
  • Apply coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations practices.
  • Contribute to requirements analysis and estimations.
  • Support software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution by correcting errors and coding enhancements.
  • Build software structures using functions, design patterns, and layers.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions using comments, layouts, diagrams, and charts.
  • Design and code complex functions and full modules autonomously within agreed quality, deadline, and cost constraints.
  • Perform code reviews, basic troubleshooting, customer workshops, and coaching for less experienced developers.

Development experience

  • Four to six years of development experience using C#, ASP.NET 4.0 or above, .NET Core, and SQL Database.
  • Strong object-oriented programming concepts are required.
  • Experience building SOA web services and REST services is required.
  • Proven experience with client-server solutions is required.
  • Ability to write unit test cases is required.

Technical skills

  • Extended knowledge of WCF, WPF, MVC, and MVVM is required.
  • Working exposure to JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Visual Studio 2019 or later is required.
  • Proven data structures and algorithms knowledge is required.
  • Knowledge of multithreading, reflection, serialization, and remote communication technologies is required.

Communication and teamwork

  • The role requires good spoken English and the ability to communicate concepts clearly and credibly.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team are required.
  • The role requires results orientation, metrics awareness, and adaptability in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Collaboration between software development and integration projects is a plus.
