Role Overview
The team is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to work in Riyadh.
The role involves significant individual contribution, teamwork, and direct impact on product development.
Responsibilities
- Keep current with software development methodologies and provide software solutions.
- Analyze product requirements, evaluate feasibility, estimate effort, and collaborate with the Product Team.
- Build and program solution components that transform requirements into working software.
- Document coding steps for maintenance and future modifications.
- Write unit, integration, and UI or snapshot tests.
- Investigate and resolve software issues and bugs.
- Participate in code reviews and prepare review reports.
- Perform functional and module testing.
- Evaluate product development and recommend improvements.
- Support user trials and acceptance testing.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience with a strong foundation in design patterns and algorithms.
- Kotlin is preferred, while a Java background is accepted.
- Deep expertise in native Android development and modern mobile architectures.
- Understanding of the Android lifecycle, including Activities and Fragments.
- Practical experience with Scrum or Kanban Agile frameworks.
- Experience delivering high-quality, testable code and using Git.
- Familiarity with Modern Android Development toolkits, modular architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to design and implement maintainable, scalable modules.
- Familiarity with AI tools, APIs, and machine learning integration in mobile applications.
- Native iOS or Flutter experience is highly desirable.
- Firebase, Google Maps API, Fastlane, and Checkout.com SDK experience are nice to have.
