About the Role
Fable is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep backend expertise, full-stack development skills, and hands-on experience building AI-powered applications and agentic workflows.
This is a senior individual contributor role with ownership from idea through production and collaboration across Product, Design, Development, Quality Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering.
Workplace
- The role is remote in Canada.
- The position is full-time in the Engineering department.
Technical Ownership and Engineering
- Own technical solutions end to end and translate customer and business needs into scalable, production-ready software.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software throughout its lifecycle while balancing delivery speed with engineering quality.
- Build scalable backend services, APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and modern full-stack applications.
- Improve performance, scalability, observability, reliability, security, maintainability, developer experience, and platform architecture.
